Battery Impedance Spectroscopy

All NuVant potentiostat/galvanostats offer Step Impedance Spectroscopy (SIS) for battery, capacitor and fuel cell analysis, and recipe editors that enable complex battery cycling profiles.  The E-series of the EZstat-Pro and Powerstat potentiostats additionally offer EIS from 0.01 Hz to 10 kHz.   These potentiostat/galvanostats are complete process control electrochemical instruments that also control mass flow controllers, peristaltic pumps and temperature controllers. Current ranges can be customized as per customer request.

 

Step Impedance Spectroscopy (SIS)

Step Impedance Spectroscopy is provided with EZware-2013 software. The testing of a 2 year old Panasonic LC-R064R5P 6V, 4.5Ah/20HR lead acid battery by a NuVant Powerstat-05 potentiostat/galvanostat is demonstrated by EZware-2013 software screenshots below.

EZstat Pro now does EIS from 0.01 Hz to 10 kHz!

The EZstat Pro potentiostat galvanostat provides EIS from 0.01 Hz to 10 kHz.  No other potentiostat/ galvanostat on the market  comes stock with current ranges from 1 uA to a full amp with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.  This is all that is required for batteries and fuel cells. The EZstat Pro is sold complete with all software at no extra cost.  The EZstat Pro is perfect for developers of undergraduate curricula interested in bringing electrochemistry, including electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, to undergraduate education.  Customers that have purchased EZstat Pro instruments prior to today can upgrade performance for EIS by obtaining high performance cables from NuVant Systems

 

Arbitrary waveform potentiostat galvanostat

Arbitrary potentiostat/galvanostat waveforms NuVant potentiostat/galvanostats output arbitrary waveforms as excitation signals for potentiostat of galvanostat operation.  Arbitrary waveforms are critical for sensor applications where electrode surfaces must be conditioned before and after analyte sensing.  The screen shot below exemplifies an arbitrary excitation signal that concatenates sine waves, square waves, linear ramps and more.  No arbitrary waveform is beyond the capabilities of NuVant System potentiostat/galvanostats.

 

Ultrathin Heated Vacuum Tables for CCM Electrode Printing

NuVant introduces thin heated vacuum tables that have widths of less than 2 centimeters.  Thin heated vacuum tables accommodate ink jet printers for catalyst coated membrane (CCM) electrode printing.  The tables in stock are 50 sq. inches. Vacuum table top surfaces are black anodized and Teflon coated to prevent ion contamination of your materials. This is the ultimate for preparing CCM electrodes for combinatorial electrochemistry using our Arraystat fuel cell, or whatever combinatorial system you are using.  We customize heated vacuum tables to accommodate all of your needs.
